M&B Oils is a long-established family business which supplies a range of high quality, biodegradable, environmentally friendly, cleaning solutions to help vehicle owners, hauliers and companies prolong the life of their transport fleet.

Brothers Nick and Simon Laity are the founders of M&B Oils, the family run business based in Devon, which is revolutionising the way asphalt release agents are used across the country. With knowledge and experience in the transport industry stretching back through several generations, the family and M&B employees know what it takes to keep a fleet of vehicles safely on the road.

Cleaning and maintaining a vehicle on a regular basis helps ensure the vehicle is safe to drive, prolongs its life on the road, and can save on expensive servicing and repair bills. The Laity family understood this back in the early 90’s when maintaining their own fleet of vehicles. At the time, the cleaning products which were available mainly used water, cooking oil or red diesel to remove the build-up of bitumen and asphalt from truck beds, machinery and tools.

A once popular choice for cleaning stubborn dirt and tar residue on lorries, cars and bikes, red diesel has since fallen out of favour. Diesel fumes can be poisonous to humans and animals and although red diesel is a powerful agent, it is neither economic to use or environmentally friendly, compared with products created by M&B Oils. Cooking oil was also a popular choice, but this tended to smell strongly and needed to be used in large quantities to achieve good results.

Through experimenting with different formulas, the Laity family created an environmentally friendly, biodegradable, non-toxic product using 99% recycled materials. With extensive time invested into researching suitable materials for the product, followed by thorough testing in the transport environment, the product T-99 was invented. Initially used internally by M&B Oils to protect and preserve company vehicles and machinery, T-99 is now used by many companies and individuals throughout the world. T-99 is the cleaning agent which delivers top quality results in the commercial and domestic environment.

The T-99 release agent, designed and developed by M&B Oils, is a clean and effective way to prevent the build-up of asphalt and bitumen and keeps tools and vehicles running smoothly. It can be used on metal and paintwork, commercially, industrially and domestically. When creating T-99, the Laity family wanted a quality product suitable for spraying onto smaller household appliances, such as bikes and power tools, as well as using on heavy plant machinery and vehicles.
